• (U+2022 BULLET) is the standard list bullet. On Windows, type it with Alt+0149 or Alt+7 on the numeric keypad; in HTML it's •. For a second level, many people use ◦ (U+25E6 WHITE BULLET) or ‣ (U+2023 TRIANGULAR BULLET).

How do I type a bullet point?
